Exhaust manifold

Hi is a built up exhaust manifold effective as a casted manifold to turbocharge a TD42 engine.

That all depends on the design, quality and suitability of the materials and the quality manufacturing. Done properly either can do the job very well. A properly manufactured tuned length tubular manifold will flow a lot more efficiently than a basic cast log type manifold. I don't know which would be better for use in a 4wd but my preference would lean towards a good cast log type manifold for their proven robustness.
