need to drain my fuel tank

Hello just had a quick look under my GQ no drain plug on the tank was reading a few posts by doing a search and someone was saying there is a inspection panel in the floor.
so if i lift up the floor mat i can get access just dont want to drop the tank out on my own ...... the only reason is the diesel is old and smells like tolulene so doing the full fuel system before i put the new injectors in
    thanks

Yep.. lift your carpet / vynal and you'll see a hatch with 4 bolts.
Undo it and you'll find your sender..
    Disconnect hoses and electrical.
Undo the 6 bolts and carefully lift out.. then suck the tank dry.
    Cheers

as TD said, if you cannot get replacement Fuel Lines,
get a big arsed compressor and blow it from the engine end to the fuel tank end (not attached to the tank ofcourse) put a rag over the end, and give it a shot of air........... if there is anything on the rag (grot / slime / black gooey shyte) then dribble some diesel down the line and do it again
    and again
    and again
    and again

until it is clean / clear of crap
