The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Yeah it's a bit messy mate.

I just got the battery tray in and overflow bottle. It all fits with slight trimming on the tray.

Wasn't the best pic to show on the forum that's for sure but excited to hear it run!!!

It'll clean up great mate and look mint.

Hey mate, I had big issues with mine because of my snorkel location into guard.

I had to raise it a bit using a new bracket underneath and push it towards the firewall using a spacer on the side bracket.

Your snorkel location should hopefully be a straight install using the FATZ OEM brackets mate try that first.

I could've used the OEM set up but I would've ended up with a giant hole on the guard.

Did you have to do any trimming to the alternator bracket or radiator shroud?
Is your second battery still in the standard location or did you have to shift it over at all?

Yeah I had to trim the alternator bracket. The edge of the alternator bracket is about 10mm thick and about 20mm on top so if you just follow the thickness of the side and cut the top of the bracket at the same thickness it fits perfect. I'll take pics for you.

I had to move the tray 20mm because of my airbox moving so that sucked a bit but only had to nip the edge off the tray because it hits the tower brace panelling but only just.

That's awesome news for me, I shouldn't have to shift the tray then. Pics of the alternator bracket would be good... Thanks mate

    I am done!!!

All cleaned up, bottle and deep cycle is in, all tidy!

Just need a dump pipe on and a better oil feed.

    Matty, oh my god...lol

Just took it for a spin, insane!

Even on a 10mm pump it is a million times better then ht18.

So responsive it's ridiculous. My poor gq is going to be flogged! I am loving the sound of this turbo. Feel like a little kid again!!
