    Is the pressure plate dual mass or solid? Id have to ring and find out but i think a kit with flywheel is about $700. I think. Egr plates Roofy will have the old one and you only need to block it at the manifold, or on the egr pipe at the rear lower right side of the motor.

    It's a Dual mass one. Omar said to block both ends is best, does that sound right? . . .

    No point in blocking both ends. Its blocked totally with one plate.

    Yeah that's what i kinda figured but builder said do both. Guess it's over engineering but sometimes that's not a bad thing . . .

    If you want to add another plate i would add one on the egr pipe itself. I have them here if you want to put one on.

    I'm really stoked mate but not as much as Jane-o she's excited beyond believe
    when the motor pulled the pin we were both pretty devastated as we had been
    planning our trip for quite a while thanks to the generosity of the Forum
    we might just make it and the work that Jonathon and Rossco and Mark is more
    than Awsome and now the count down begins till were mobile again

    Still no idea when the transplant will be happening mate? Sounds like it will be quite close to the end of my honeymoon it will take some serious convincing with the missus to be there lol
