First off why didnt you get zinc ,I see no reason of using black bolts on a 4x4
that lot would cost me less than $20 but they'd be grade 8 and zinc
I stock most of them here

I had a hole left behind from my Autron cruise control on/off led
after I moved the light to the pillar pod much easier to see.
Now what to do with the hole, I had a heap of black 10mm moulding plugs
which will fit nicely making a neat finish imo
Not a big job but it was annoying the %^$# out of me

Replaced two rear control arm bushes that were fubar with OEM ones. God I love my eBay special 12T press!

Why does it put the pick upside down????? Ugh.

Fitted the new, but transit damaged Tough Dog shocker cover. Bloody idiots posted the new cover, just in a post bag with no protection at all. So it obviously copped a beating when in transit. I rang Tough Dog up and they just told me to use a heat gun to repair it. I wont be recommending their product to anyone now.
And drilled out the ends of the sway bar and used 14mm bolts right through the rose joint and sway bar. As the rose joint uses those spacers so a 12mm bolt can be used. Issue is, the hole in the sway bar is about 13mm, god knows why, so the bolt has room to move around. So now, the bolts are bigger and theres no movement.

Annnnnd, my DSE 12v oven got a 6mm twin core cable upgrade with a new Narva plug and boy it heats up soooo much quicker. Now to do the other oven.

And the difference between the OEM GU Tie Rod and a Superior 4340M comp spec. Bitta weight diff....

Hmm o.k. So maybe they didn't over charge me. Lol. I was charged $80.... The mob I work for 15years sold bolts, imperial size only though. And I know they they charge around $3 for a 3/4inch x 4inch bolt, grade 8 etc etc. I'm in the wrong business. Feck!

I replaced the front sway bar bolts with larger 14mm bolts. As the extensions use a 14mm rose joint with a 12mm reducer in them. And the eye on the sway bar is about 13mm. So the bolt is sloppy.... i drilled out the eye to 14mm and used a larger and longer 14mm bolt. Worked a bloody treat.
And there is longer bolts for the radius arms. The eyes are flogged out, not a lot but enough to annoy me, so i will weld those washers on and use longer bolts.

I dont mean to be a pain but if they arent you should use high tensile washers. Also use cone lock nuts instead of nylock especially for suspension bolts.

And use plenty of anti seize on assembly.

Edit: I see you do have ht washers for the larger bolts.

Mixed a bit of this stuff into the Mrs 02GU4.2TD this morning on recommendation from Patrol Apart.

I'm no Dyno mechanic but it does seem to be hauling up the hills cleaner & harder than last time driven, we'll test truly on floating beats over the weekend :-)

    Cheers MB
