trying to find something nice in the way of accomadation...can someone give me the heads up on nice places to stay,in or around the theme parks area...doesn't have to right next door as just the general area...it's hard looking on the internet knowing if it's good or not.

Last time we were there we stayed at http://www.solaireapartments.com.au/
They had a special going we paid $99 a night for a 2 bedroom apartment. That wasn't during any school holidays, but was a few years ago.
It's across from that little carnival if that's still there.

Not much accom around dreamword/movie world/wet and wild, but there is busses from surfers paradise (central goldie). Sea world has a hotel but is also close ish to surfers.
Surfers is hotel hotspot. Options are endless.
