Yeah all good. He hasn't got one ready to go yet but said next week sometime one will be ready hopefully. Plan is to drop off old engine first to get the pump off to put on the new motor. Also need to organise funds when AB gets some time I guess.

Sounds like roofy is progressing well getting the motor out, if all goes well I'll pick it up at the end of the weekend.

Well didn't feel like going up to the truck this arvo but being a tad stubborn went anyway crawling around underneath undoing
the last tight as nuts and bolts (why are the ones you have trouble getting at are the tightest)the starter motor was the worst
Any way she's OUT and on the floor

Roofy as time is on your side ATM, why not hit every nut and bolt with wd40 and let it do its thing.

Starter bolts are a pain. Long extensions and uni joints.

Probly not worth cleaning the engine as it will be rebuilt anyway, plus manifolds and turbo etc are open so probly not the best.

Would love to see what's happened inside, I'll see if i can get him to send some photos in when it's stripped.

Spoke to him again will drop it off tomorrow arvo. Needs a few more things taken off which I'll do tonight- clutch, manifolds and injector lines, hopefully all goes well. . .
