    Had a f&@king awesome weekend with BA, rosco and matfew. Did some really awsome tracks... Can't wait to do it again.

    Yeah great weekend, good to get away and finally get up to the butcher country, has been on the list for a while, was as good as expected.

    Looks like you all had a great trip!! It's beautiful country up there. There are heaps of really nice campsites in that valley

    Did you end up taking butcher country tk or New Caledonia tk when you were headed north (or south depending where you started)?

    We came from the south into the Macalister then up to the Howit high plain then down south along the Caledonia ... on the last day we climbed Dingo and the guys that were not there last time were gob smacked that Jim drove up that in his 80 series in 2 wheel drive..

    Driving up that this time was so much better as we could all just concentrate on our own driving and not stress about getting a broken Toyota out of there as it is epic.

    Gob smacked to say the least. This is not a hill you look at and go "yeah it looks ok". Even in 4wd you had to concentrate a lot, Jim doing this in 2wd, with the amount of steps, rocks, boulders and switch backs we did in the one climb had all of us shaking this guys hand.

    Now to find the time to wash the car....

    Can you wash mine while your at it? Blow hard defeated me again had to winch about 100 metres yesterday
