The internet banking should not have let you transfer the money if you typo'd the bank details... I'd be changing banks for sure, $16.50 is ridiculous.
When I first tried it didn't work for me but I was never charged for the mistake. I assume I typed it in wrong but used paypal second time.

When I went into a NAB, to do the transfer, the teller told me it was gunna cost, and to walk down to the Westpac and do it there for nothing.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
