Yeah grind two flat bits or weld a nut to it - probly better option. Could be a good one to try that freeze & release. . . Some things are never meant to be easy ! ! . . .

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Lol! Mate I just read the first 400 posts in this build thread, I kept reading until the turbo was well and truly fitted. By the time I got to 400 I was thinking you led me a stray!

Have faith though bud I found a few great posts that I had not thanked so dealt with that while I was trolling.

I remember when the HT18 was enough! Now look at ya!! You've changed!

    Any other ideas?

It's been soaked with wd40 all last week.
Get a little spray bottle and mix 50/50 acetone and atf in it, shake it up good as they will want to separate. Spray the bejesus out of it and let it soak in for a couple of hours. Should help.

    WD40 is pants.

Cheers fellas, I'll give it a crack on the weekend.

Had another win, confirmed the ht18 water lines I had custom made are m14 1.5, exactly the same as Borgwarner.

That's a huge win to make things easier!
