    Wow.
    Coming from a engineering background this is brilliant. Would love to get a lathe and mill to do some handy work. Did do a piston for display purpose once. Still got it in my cabinet with my 1/18th diecasts.

    I remember seeing someone building a 1/4 scale v8 spirit car years ago in street machine magazine.
    Must dig up my stash of old mags to find a pic..

    Absolutely beautiful! I have always wanted to build a little steam engine or a Stirling engine just never got around to it.
