Can also remember the antenna base was rectangle as they were from a Mustang.
With 5 ppl in it we got it up to 148 mph, silly now but bullet proof back then lol.
Mate was forever breaking the crap cow catcher off the front, the horn inside the
steering wheel rim was novel.

yes i can remember my first ride in a HO, omfg doing about 90mph and pulled out to pass a car and the speedo just flew up to over 140mph i was stokedespecially as i had a mini lol

Driving to Perth did the same across the Nullabor cogged down to 3rd at 100mph to overtake,,,stupid numbers.yes i can remember my first ride in a HO, omfg doing about 90mph and pulled out to pass a car and the speedo just flew up to over 140mph i was stoked
@ one of the road houses there was a brand new HO with the front written off ,he hit a roo @ 100mph
A good roo will do that lol
My mate originally wanted a white one with the black stripe and the only one at the time was in Darwin
so he settled on the Vermillion Fire GT, lot of great memories
Redline was 5000rpm how sweet did it sound at full noise eh lol
