Bit hard 2 see in the pic but the bolt holes on the diff bracket are elongated, like Kallen has suggested

Just loosened the nuts and checked the holes. . . . and what do you know, I have elongated holes, about 1mm on each side! My next question now is, how do I fix them? I was thinking of getting some heavy duty washers the same size as the bolt and welding them to the hangers, but then I'd need longer bolts to account for the washers.

Grab some weld on washers from threedogs.
You'll need 8 and 4 new m16 grade 8.8 bolts 110mm long preferably in a metric fine thread..
Remove bolt, insert a washer either side, tighten and the weld them on..

Well, I welded some steel plates to the front holes for the radius arms today, but my clunk is still there, albeit not as loud and not as noticeable through the floor pan . . . . . looks like I will be checking the rear holes now, and if that doesn't work I'll just drive around with the stereo up full noise so I can't hear or feel it

Did that too, drivers side was gone and squeaked every time I got in the thing. . . . the knock is definitely on the passengers side so I'll check it out when my body recovers from lying on the concrete with spanner in hand!
