    Is it possible you have a leak in the front lokka and that's why you have sudden leaks from seals??

    The ARB Solenoids are renowned for slight leaks. I wasn't surprised at all when they compressor cycled. My GQ is the same.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    I can't get the vids to play on my phone... How often does the pump cycle?
    When I have my locker in I have not heard the compressor cycle, prob had it in for 5 mins at the longest so far.

    Yeah it's pretty common mate, I fitted a heap of the ARB Solenoids to the GQ and ended up disconnecting the tank as it cycled anyway. Was a little disappointed but asked around and everyone pointed at the Solenoids.

    Ripper Pics & Vids AB & MR !
    Happy Australia Day, looks like you both celebrated in style!!
    Having watched the Vids, full credit to MR for cool/calm&collected Navi advise, top job together gents as a team !
    It's true MR, Vids never really show the pitch and the size of those rutts/rocks/tracks.
    AB; Wouldn't stress to hard about the compressor kicking in, I'm very keen though to hear the prognosis from PA on slamming the front axle down from 5' and now weeping:-( !

    Never a good look when you get out of the 4by with the seat covers crimped into your butt cheeks lol
    You can buy 4x4 pucker buttons for just this sort of thing.
