That would be a hell of a lot of fun though! I'd be quite happy to take some extra fuel to do that trip =)

It was a fantastic trip, took 2 weeks and we did not see another car for over a week.
Between 5 cars we had 13 flat tyres and were able to fix all but 1 ourselves.
The log book at Geo-Survey Hill showed that we were the first people to visit there in 3 years.

Try doing the Simpson this way, going via the geographical center and geo-survey hill and mostly with no tracks.
120L would not be anywhere near enough.

Finished installing my aux tank and it all looks like a good fit... just need to go get some diesel and test it.

Much better doing it my house than AB's shitty rock drive.

Threw the batteries on the charger for this weekends trip.. Pretty boring.. But any excuse to get out of the house and work on the truck will do!

Haha! AB's place is better for working on cars than mine. Small gravel carport with bigger stones than at his place and it is a downhill slope, so if it is raining all the water runs into the carport.
The new place we are moving into in a couple of weeks has concrete but is not undercover so I think I will buy a cheap tarp carport setup thing.
