Yeah I try and not to get worked up over it . It's out of my control really.
Just someone who's got nothing better to do than sit near a window and listen to dB levels of cars... tons and tons of hoons in my vicinity with much louder systems and have been around forever. Oh well.

Stuff em mate! I reckon you'd pass the dB test even without the muffler. That'd really annoy the chai latte sipper if you passed like that!

One of the reasons I put a muffler in was because i would have hated to have to listen to this truck with a turbo ping its head off every time i changed gear and rumble that could be heard up the street.

My house use to rumble from the noise of my car..

It also drove me mad driving it with that droning noise it made..

Sometimes it is not about the do gooders ruining your day but people wanting peace when they come home and not listening to noise... Eric lives in a court where the noise resonates and they had trouble in the past with a wrx.

Yeah and laminate the test report and stick it to you rear window. That would piss them off.

What's wrong with people though? I understand people might have a problem with a noisy car early in the morning and that's fine, but why not go to Hodge and tell him to his face?

Because where we live Winnie someone is likely to stab you for confronting them.... we live in a very aggressive area Mate and sometimes the simplest of things can quickly escalate into something ugly.

I asked my neighbour to stop beeping their horn at 10.30 at night when 6 cars were leaving and was met with a mouth full of shit.... I mowed their lawn for free for 3 years and never asked anything of them.

Because some ppl have nothing better to do with their non existent life than to whinge at the very smallest of things/

The sad thing is that you hear about these kinds of things more often than not.
But I don't see a problem with occasional beep here and there or a car staring up and taking off.. Sometimes you have police and ambulance sirens going off at any time which are wayyy louder, dogs barking for a few minutes... and so on.
On the plus side, you know exactly when neighbours are coming and going

Sadly I have them.. I just let them winge and complain.. they call the ranger for every little insignificant thing.. let's just say that the ranger(s) have compassion for me.
