When I got a key I was told only the dealers could program the car to match the key.
x 2 I got the same message from a few key places when I tried as well, ended up having to go back to Nissan and fork out he

Well I'm in 2 minds wether the draw system stays in or I revert it back to a 7 seater for an rwc situation..
If the draws come out I was going to hit the market at $6000.
$6700 if they stay as the buyer gets the cargo barrier and 75L stainless water tank aswell..
    Negotiable of course..

Yes the new key works the immobiliser same as the original factory key. FYI I have the DX with central locking but no remote control.

The guy had to go out to my car and muck around for a bit but it all works fine.

It sure had. Absolutely lucky it was the earth wire that was exposed. I actually have 3 wires running through the split conduit, 2 x 8 B&S and 1 x 6mm (All twin core). At first I wasn't sure which one of the 8 B&S it was so checked all the fuses and the were all good, pulled them out though. Anyway ran a new length of cable and conduit, rescured the conduit and put the fuses back in, all good to fight another day. Just a headache I could of done without on this first day of 2016.
    Cheers Rod

Should've done it long time ago!

    Looks good mate.
Just a note on the second battery.
On mine and I have seen others, they have a strap from the battery clamp to one of the radiator overflow bottle bolts.
    Adds a bit of strength.

All in all though it looks good
    Cheers
