I received a Leatherman "KICK" from 4WD monthly years ago as part of a subscription.
Probably use it once a week for one job or another on the patrol.
Very Handy always in the centre console
@ Irish cant go wrong with a leatherman tool IMO, you'll be handing it down.
Plus its fully re-buildable

I have both the sidekick and OHT models and love them both, very sturdy and are both used regularly and kept basically razor sharp.
I like that little Tanto, I think that will get added to the collection.
@Growler, the torx screws are both tight, just set slightly higher than notmal

Yeah but in survival you may need something that can take a hammering.
OD would know more but still a great looking knife IMO
Might find something in this shop,,,,http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MTech-USA...-/111832872859

I posted a slightly different version of this knife earlier in the thread and it rocks, very tough, sturdy knife. Am keen on getting this version as well.
The baby "chisel" Tanto is a good size as either a back up knife or for an EDC / Survival / Bug Out kit due to its size, full tang for strength and can be used for multiple purposes.
I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered and will do a test run on it.

Hi all. Have followed this thread for a while but now have the desire to post.
I currently have this knife and love it. However, I have had to replace it once before (lost it) and now they seem to be off the market. Was a good price.. Something like $40-$50 and would be keen to pick up another one or two if I ever found them...
If anyone sees one up for sale somewhere in Aus, it would be great if you could let me know
Cheers!
