Very under rated the humble flat head IMO
Cant beat some fried fillets and a squeeze of lemon

Met a fellow Patrol owner at a shop today and got information about a local club! Already met some others and got some good info on tuning, parts, places, etc.

There's a group in one of the locales along the winter ice road that I take.

1999 GU RD28Ti; mechanical injector pump, 5kBt Webasto circulation heater, 33" Yokohama Geolander I/T, SaaS boost & EGT gauges, 2" Ironman suspension...more to come

A win for sure. I don't know how many of them speak English but I'll definitely let them know. Here's a picture of their rigs on one of their excursions this summer.

Was pleasantly surprised that after changing the tyres back to 33's and fitting the snorkel and airbox I did a bit over 1100klm's and still have A quarter left in the tank, best I have ever got previously was 1200 dead empty with 33's , with the 35's 1000klm to empty.
