    Had twin lockers in my other 4x4 just idled up everything, much less wear and tear IMHO

    Yeah they're bloody good hey. What you needed to do in 2nd full noise, you can do in first and hold a beer without spilling it. Lol.

    I thought I loved my lokka and it serves it's purpose ten fold but having an air locker is a whole new luxury gain.

    If your environment is hardcore tracks within 200m of each track then happy days but if your a regular high country / touring adventurer then my god that lokka shits you after a while.

    Yeah exactly, I hit this little steep rocky section first low at 1000rpm and the car just kept driving!

    I wasn't expecting it to be so hard to turn with the locker in. I know some people say it's real hard and others say it's not so bad but it was had work to turn hard.
    I'm glad I can turn it off for that reason.

    I would avoid turning with the locker on as it puts to much stress on axels, diffs etc.

    Has a bit to do with big tyres and where you were was a bit rough on top
    mine was ok but can feel when its engaged
