I am going to buy this and put it up around the GQ over Christmas. They are out of stock of a White one and will be back in stock on the 9th of December so will place an order then. Perfect spray booth. Don't want a coloured one as it will affect my colour analysis with the light inside if it is glowing red or blue. Overspray of white paint on white walls won't matter either. Cant find anything remotely as good for this price.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Thanx mate.
That's also good for living in my case.
Now, I know how I can afford a house without having to lick the rear ends of banks. .
But, unfortunately for me, my elderly PITA neighbour will find a way to complain about this as well.

yeah but you can put it up, spray and pull it down in a weekend nearly if your keen. I am going to set mine up over the GQ for a while but will be perfect to do some painting in for sure.

If you're after an outdoor tent for the GQ, Super Cheap is selling a one for $150 or something with open sides.
I bought a one last year, but ended up returning it.

I reckon by the time the neighbour get around to the council person to show up, spraying will be over.
From what I read so far, a neighbour needs to have a legitimate claim of excessive fumes, noise, etc to complain about.

The rules for commercial operations are their for a reason, but same rules can't apply for a domestic spray that happens for couple of hours
    once every five years.

    Cheers.

Yeah the Supercheap Auto ones are Junk. The cheap one comes with a box of poles and you have to build it. The white cover is Not UV Stable and is basically one of those cheap ass Blue woven tarps died White and lasts not very long before it disintegrates in the sun. I used one a few years ago as a temporary storage at a rental when i was between houses. By the time you buy their rubbish walls to go with t it not cheap.

The one in that link is the real deal and a bargain, i have been shopping for them for a while and the RRP price they quote is about the going rate in stores like BCF and Rays. Their shipped to your door price is amazing!!

Yes mate, the gazebo is a good, and the price is good too.

There'a guy down the road, who's been using a one that he claimed he bought from Super cheap. That was last year. He added extra ropes attached to it anchored to the ground to give more strength during stormy days. It's still there, but not actually sure whether it's from Super cheap. I bought a one last year, but returned it, 'cos I wasn't going to use it. I actually bought it for the van, but then realized putting a good caravan cover over it was good enough. I just realized when I need to work on the van, I just have to make sure it's a sunny day, not a rainy day.

Do you think the neighbour can get me into trouble?

Nah I don't think he has any grounds to get you in trouble . If you use a tent then there is no claim of damage from overspray mist, no bugs landing in your wet paint. Good to go.

hey mate i did a full respray in a farm shed with drop sheets hung to stop the breeze, it worked a treat. make sure your spray area is out of the breeze though, because any small amount of wind will make your spray job VERY hard and less consistent. see here, this was my experience:

I got red dust in my veins.
