Yeah last thing you want is for the lower half of the stick to drop in to the engine. Just put a terminal cover on the battery and you want have to worry about setting the oil alight...

Bahahaha.. I've done it with a ruler before but am always careful where I put the dip stick..

yes be careful where you put your "dip stick" been in a lot
of trouble in the early years with that one, lol

It cost me $31 delivered my local Nissan Stealer Cup which was totally reasonable I thought

If yours is a factory turbo intercooled engine it will have an ecu.
