Haha , thought the same , great shot, bit more reflection would make it better, but then i read the description, its a credit to your skills you got that without your DSLR![]()
Actually...... whilst getting the whole reflection would have made for a great composition, I think that it also would have run the risk of detracting from a great shot of a magnificent looking bird. The ‘double bird’, had the whole reflection been included would have become the focus, rather than just the bird .......if you know what I mean.
From my untrained eye anyway.

A Nomadic Life (Blog)
Taking the picture on a boat that was rocking about on the north sea was a challenge, that is why I could not get the whole bird in the frame with its reflection. I did manage one but chopped the birds tail off, like a dork.
Anyway, it is all subjective, I would have preferred the reflection, but sometimes things work against you.
Appreciate you guys dropping in and posting your thoughts.

Went to Iceland for a short break, was a bit of a rush, but I practised my long forgotten landscape stuff
We went in winter because we wanted to see Iceland, well, like icey. Boy was it that bloody freezing.
The first three are of Gulfoss, the largest waterfall in Europe, semi frozen. Last is a geyser, forgot its name, but it has lots of letters in it..............
