Sort out a couple of nocks that are drivinge nuts and maybe get the auxiliary tank off to sort out the pump.

I would love a bigger intercooler but not a priority.

Unlike ab's snorkel I mounted my bolts straight into the long section along the body and will also add a second bracket on the upright. .. i drilled anf added the nutsert while i had the tool here but will make the bracket next week.

I also shortened the upright section by 3 inches and like how it all sits... fwark its sexy.

Thanks Andy and also mark for lending me the tools snd also mudski for getting much of the parts and cheers Eric for the hand mate.

    Another job off the list.
Anytime. I popped in for 5 minutes to say hello, and next thing we're right into snorkel mounting haha. I was more so just holding stuff while Johno was doing his welding magic...

Looks very good mate. Nice and neat.

That tool is awesome mate , i want one but holy frek the $$$$$.

Makes the job so much easier and looks much better.

Mudski i have some 4 inch tube left over.. i am not sure its quite enough to do the whole job but it would be close.

Now to figure out this clunk... i will get mags to drive the car backwards and forwards while i try and listen for where it is coming from.

You can do it without the tooling by just using a bolt and nut as per link below.

Painfully slow but if only doing a couple then it works without spending excessive coin on a pneumatic nutsert tool.

There is no way to insert one on the piller like that.. I know of that method but I would rather buy a hand tool to do the job.

And from driving around with no snorkel at all the other day the turbo noise would drive me mad let alone having it right at my window.... I dont know how you guys with the snorkel with no ram head on can stand it???

Yes you can, I used that to do mine as we didn't have the tooling back then.
