I was joking about ‘official’, but if you talk to him he’ll add your name to the list of esteemed pod owners in his signature line.![]()
He’s slept in his from time to time - one of our guinea pigs. LOL.

Sorry to hijack thread but can anyone advise where I can get a ladder like the one in the photo.
I have been using a milk crate to get in and out of my ute but this Ross River Fever has made it more difficult. Tried Bunnings and pool shops.
Photo did not come across in quote but it is in above post dated 20.9.15 from GU Camper

Why would you swag it if you can Podfort .......like this?
New pics coming soon, but I've got 2 x 120w solar panels on the roof. In the pod, I box everything up and take a 4 man tent. That gives us the option of putting the boxes in the tent and sleeping in the pod on our double bed high density foam matress, or we sleep in the tent on our mattress and leave the boxes in the pod. Depends a lot on the weather, too.
Going on extended trips, we take our annex that hangs off the left hand side and 5m awning that covers the annex and the back of the pod.

Not a bad idea about using a 4 man tent,I suppose even if it's just a cheap Aldi tent for the gear in the pod!The mozzie net is also a good idea.As I mentioned in previous post we are only looking at short stays at this stage and sleeping in the pod up off the ground sounds much better.I intend to put a false floor in the back with DIY drawer systems plus a slide out kitchen. So many idea's not enough time!![]()

I suspect it’s a custom made job suitable for the Trayon camper back with it’s ‘pop top’. Wouldn’t suit a pod with a lower fixed roof.
Maybe something like this would suit?
or alternatively I recently bought one of these from Grays Online. Worked out at $29 delivered, is a solid item & a bit higher than a milk crate. (I bought it to make accessing the engine bay a bit easier)

or maybe one of these type of ‘tyre steps’?![]()

Hey guys nice thread! So after years of umming and arrghing i finally got my hands on a ex telstra canopy a few weeks ago!!
Its a roscos trademate and was off a leafy so with some minor modifications got it mounted on the coil cab the day. Now looking forward to decking it out! First up will be drawers and 12v lights, fridge points + accessories etc.
Shes needs a little TLC so have ordered new seals all round and hoping to get it all sprayed up. Any one on here resprayed their pod? If so what paint and prep is needed, or am i better off just going to a spray shop.
Also looking at getting some decent roof racks was going down the path of tradesman all alloy set up. Anyone else got some pics of of the rack set up?
Heres a few pics from the day ill get some more up as the build comes along!
