    N/A TD42 to Turbo

    002.JPG003.JPG

Hi all can anyone help with the location of the water return from the turbo unit, the oil pickup is located at the engine mount, but there dosen't appear to be drilling for the water?

further to the right at the bottom of your first pic. Hard to see on this broken phone screen.

It's not in the pic though.

Have a good look at the back bottom left hand side of your block

Hey mate, I think you can use the block coolant drain plug, someone please correct me if this is wrong!?

Its a 12mm bolt thats sat right up behind that fitting that is on the right hand side of the block halfway up. Prick of a thing to get at if the engine is in.

Yes, that's the drain plug for the block. It's 1/4 BSPT thread.
Your other option is to put T pieces in your 2 heater hoses.

Factory turbo engine has these fittings

Water will come from the coolant drain plug. You can put the return in the thermostat housing using a t where the heater hose returns.

What is low mileage? I still have my TB45E engine in the shed, it's only done 136k kms. They're not worth a lot..
