    No I won't bother to clear coat... I am going to polish up the ribs on the top hat though like they come new now.

    A clear coat will just add that little extra protection i think. You gone to so much trouble so far. You might aswell....

    Not much point mate, it's all aluminium so can't rust or anything. They came out of the factory with no coating at all.

    Clear coat will just keep it looking shimk for longer. As said, you've done so much, may as well keep it looking nice

    Clearcoat is just another thing to come off. It flakes and looks shit once old. If you want to touch up you need to remove clear coat to do so, with no clearcoat just spray from the can lol.

    Yeah the bloody serial number didn't quite match with the window in the sticker... oh well
    Was going to put it all together last night but I didn't have any grease at home, should get it done tonight but then won't be a few weeks until it's on the car anyway.
