    Any idea

Hi all , I was looking under my 2007 patrol next to the auto gear box passenger side, and there are two metal pipes that come over the box and attach to two rubber hoses then it connects to another two metal pipes, mine have been knocked off but don't know what they do, car run great, have put back together but just wanted to know what they are for ? Must have been off for some time, any ideas ? Sorry got no pics. I think macanical off some kind, . Thanks Dave,

Not sure of the pipes you are talking about. At first I though you meant the transmission oil cooler pipes going to the radiator, but if they were off you would have all sorts of issues. Maybe a breather extension pipe? Will have a look at mine tomorrow if no one else comes up with anything. Bit too dark now.

Yes had a look on net and they are breather pipes for the transfer case and front assembly. Then they go to engine bay. It didn't make any difference when they was off. Person before must have got them caught off road. Back on now all good. Thanks guys
