    Thoughts on curved light bars

Hi all I dont have, one dont need one either for that matter ,
Just interested what PPL have, my bar is 240watt spot beam.
All the newer bars seem to have spread on the ends. Im happy
with the side light from my bar.

I've got the 40 inch led light co aurora style roof mounted via Paul in vendors thread it's not curved but is combo and it lights my peripheral perfectly - I'm trying to label the switch sunshine on and off..,. Mate has a curved bar he swears by but it's on a cruiser so he swears a lot!

Straight 240 watt 100% spot bar on my truck and it works great...

Certainly don't see any need for combo beam or curved bar

Had a good chat with Paul from LED LightCo about his curved bars and I will be fitting one to my GQ. I am going to sell the 42" light bar I have now with the light rack as a package as my new rack will be weld on. He says they are awesome.

I will run a 40" single row under the roof rack on the GUIV in the coming months too.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Have a chance to buy 10 watt cree single row light bars, 45" and 37" well any size really.
I was up at TJM yesterday talking about light bars and seems the 10 watt cree single row
throw a beam about 900mtrs up the road well thats what they say,
waiting to get an email back from my supplier on the distance to light goes on a spot beam bar.
45" seems a bit long for a roof rack mount, again wont be needing a combo beam ,
as we all know any light bar throws out great side light.
Maybe I'll design a gutter mount for the light bar? so it can sit forward of the roofrack
dont want to mount it on a Rhino rack either
Sadly the 240 watt bar is 52" long, the 200 watt is 45" , and the 160 watt is 37"

If you're thinking gutter mounts, then the 52" is the perfect size.
