The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
More for yesterday, but went wheeling, damaged the small barn door and jerry holder that I've got on it. Fixed the door (still bent, but now opens/closes/locks), The jerry holder still works but now it looks a bit wonky. Could use a crowbar to straighten it out but it's still functional. Pretty happy that was all the carnage all things considered. Now the door makes a metal popping sound when opening/closing. Hopefully it doesn't make this sound when driving, though I have a feeling the muddies will drown it out anyway :P
