    Red face Air Filters

    Managed to get a brand new air filter yesterday of 'fleabay' 5 English pounds!, he had 2 so purchased them both, Nissan wanted 19 english pounds for 1!

    I stick with genuine Nissan filters only...I get a very competitive price which is very close to other brands

    How much are the genuine ones? Ryco ones not upto it? What do you think about the unifilter foam ones?

    I just bought a Ryco one the other day but I paid $38 from a small town 4wd shop...Had no choice...lol

    I think I usually pay 40 bucks but I buy 5 at a time. Pretty happy with that price and keeps MR Nissan warranty happy

    depending on your patrol they say dont use unifilters on crd patrols as the oil in th e filter gets onto the maf sensor and creates problems

    Hi Stephen, Ok that makes sense i guess - ive got a GQ 4.2 nat asperated so shouldnt be a problem - do you think there is much, if any advantage using a unifilter?

    i get ryco filters from sprints for $20.. makes it easier to replace more often as they are cheap..
