The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Has there been a minimum equipment level set (mud tyres, winch, snow chains etc...) for this trip that I missed in an earlier post?

What set up do you have mate? We prefer that your car in good condition with recovery points fitted to the front and good tyres preferably mud tyres but good all terrains will do... NO ROAD TYRES.

We took chains last snow trip but were not needed and I am not sure what others thoughts are on that?

    Anything else I have missed?

I don't think they are necessary

Yeh no worries I've got all the standard mods to tackle high country, 33" MT, F&R recovery points by three dogs , winch etc and can borrow a set of chains for just in case
