Fuel consumption / economy report

I've got a 99 GU 4.5L on gas, arb bull bar, snorkel, scrub bar, draw system and roof rack running 33" AT's around the town and normally average 29L/100km on gas and 22L/100km on petrol. Sounds ball pack with other 4.5L gas users. Has anyone got any tips on inproving fuel economy - short of; maintaing tyre pressure and reducing the weight of the vehicle?

Those figures seem a bit high

My Usuage is 18.5 Litres per 100 on Gas on a trip and around town 22 Litres per 100 k's same on Petrol
Roofy and Katrol are about the same.

With your 33" Tyres is your Speedo correct because putting on larger tyres you are actually covering more distance than your Speedo is saying and will affect Fuel Usuage

How long has your Patrol had a tune. Mine is tuned more for Gas Use and therefore one of the reasons better Gas consumption than yours
