    Coolant header/overflow tank

So i have a 1998 GU patrol which was originally a 2.8 but has been converted to a 4.2 by the previous owner. Now the top radiator coolant tank has got a slight crack around where the hose connects to it. Im looking to replace it but so far ive found i can only purchase the whole assembly top and bottom tank) Which is going to cost around $170. Is there any possible alternatives? Dont want to fork out $170 if its just going to become brittle again and crack in a few years.

Use a gu 4.2 tank. Cheaper than the 2.8 tank.

Do the 4.2's have a single tank? Like this one?

Ive been talking with the op via pm Toddy as he said he needed permission or something to reply to my post.
He can use the tank linked in his post. Its actually what should be on there. Hes still got the rd28 tank setup which can work but the td tank will work depending on his radiator setup.... also its a chit load cheaper.
