Love doing this even if i am a hack..
I just realised where id seen that holder from. I have something here that you may be able to use. A bloke contacted me and wanted to buy two of the GU barn door dove tails. This is a U shaped guide for the door when you shut it so its positioned right. He was using them for his double swing jerry can holders he made up. I have one here you can have if it helps.

I have enough steel to make 3 more rear bars but the center part only ... you would have to buy your own tube steel. I do have some long L- steel that could be used to make a more normal plate type rear bar.

Bunch of stuff I want to do but between mothers day and the weather it will be on hold.

First trip into the high country and Bruce did very well... mags liked the power doing the hill climbs as the torque meant less gear changes and not having to rev it nearly as hard as a petrol.

Couple of things need tweeking and on the morning after the big drive in a checked the radiator and noticed it needed topping up.. only about 150ml but still had me scratching my head.

After the day of driving on the tracks and the long drive home the overflow bottle had about 200ml more in it but as soon as the car cooled it sucked it all back.

So this morning i checked it again and there was about 30ml needed to top it up..... overflow bottle was normal.

Temps for the trip were good with 2 very steep long long climbs that went for about 10-15min and the temps reached 97 and held for a short time before coming down quickly when the hill leveled out even just a bit.

Pyros were never bothered at all... i think the worst was a long climb on the sealed road doing about 80km it got to just over 500 for a little but no issue at all on the tracks.

Diesel figures i am not sure about as i will not know for sure of my mileage until i fill up but with heaps of high country driving and freeway driving some of it at about 115kmh i have only managed about 400km with the needle sitting at the empty mark..?

    I love my car.....

Wouldn't that be diesel figures? Haha. Perfectly acceptable though!
