    GU steering box question

    Hi all

I have a GU steering box on the GQ and I have a feeling that the adjustment screw is completely maxed out, as I cannot turn it any further clockwise to adjust slack. I don't know the history of the box, but I wanted to know if a few of you could take a profile picture of the adjustment screw, so that the threads of it are visible(lift the rubber flap inside the wheel arch and take a snap). This way I can compare it to mine to see if it is indeed maxed out (screwed in all the way).

I really appreciate any help on this.

    Many thanks

    Andy

Thanks very much Evo. Much appreciated. But looking at mine, it doesn't appear to be much difference...

Is anyone else able to post a pic, just to make sure?

Have managed to adjust the box. Apparently, having the wife rock the steering wheel back and forth with the engine on makes the adjustment screw a lot easier to turn. This has worked a treat!

No binding from full left to full right Evo. Still a small amount of slop in the middle, might need to adjust a little further.
