A bit more progress this week with rear torsion system being installed.
Front steering damper has also been fitted.
Not much more for the next couple of weeks again though.

Legit question time though. Your suspension, while making me drool, looks like it is set up as race truck/ trophy truck type setup. Are your setting it up for super high speed stuff (we all know you have the power to do that) or will it still perform with decent flex when rockhopping?
Cheers!

It is a slightly detuned race suspension from Climax industries. Which basically means that I am running lower springs to keep the overall height down, slightly shorter shocks to suit and custom valving of the shocks when complete to compromise on and off road.
The torsion bar system on the rear is designed to try and keep the left front wheel on the ground under power and reduce torque steer.
The Durmamax sump fouled on the upper front diff bracing of the portal axle. Because I can't run tall springs and an increased bump stop, we lifted the engine another 20mm and fitted hydraulic bumps which become solid when fully compressed. This has allowed us to reduce sump clearance and maintain maximum up travel in the front end.
The radius arms are being replaced as apparantly the factory ones have potential to fail when pushed hard. These will be Superior 3" laser cut arms and not the Superflex version. Overall front end flex will be somewhat limited, but it is likely that I will pass lane change test without front sway bar so will run without if I can. The shocks all have enough stroke to allow for fairly good flex. The rear diff has a shimmed up LSD with a TJM Pro-locker in the front so will be OK for what I am prepared to climb with it as it will be carrying a touring package around as well.
