Just read an article about iinet blaming telstra for the slow down of their service....... suppose it has nothing to do with the amount of iinet customers making use of unmetered streaming

One vendor blaming the other is an old chestnut. Was with iiNet many moons ago but their support for issues was appalling. Moved to internode for many years and surprise surprise, since being bought by iiNet, great customer support went out the door again (they were really great up til then). Nowadays with Telstra on a cable plan which has been worry free, albeit it I miss all the unmetered goodies internode had.

My experience has been that in the main ISP's will always blame the other guy first off.

The difference is when you sign up for a net flix account the user agreement states that you will not do that. So you are in breach of your user licence agreement

no idea what the user agreement says mate, but the Netflix rep on Triple J Hack the other day said that people who did that are breaching their agreement, i dont use either of them so i didnt look into it further.

Yep, i too used to be with iinet. Service became terrible and all they did was play the blame game. Switched to Telstra 4 years ago and not had a problem since, go figure lol
