Dont pay anymore that $80 - $90 for a KA-BAR. Local knive shops think they can up the price because it has usmc, us army or us navy embossed and stamped on it.
To be honest, I've done my best skinning with a $20 swiss army knife and surgical scalpel. Take my word and dont try with the KA-BAR, it can be done but its not pretty.
The other knife i have but yet to use is a Buck Vanguard which can be had for $100 - $140 depending on where you go. 1427200672826.jpg
