With you on this one, I asked an electrician to give me a quote on a small job that needed doing, came out within 20-30mins of me ringing and had a look at what i needed doing. He said he had to look at some council regs and he would call me with the quote........have not heard back from him and this was over a month ago now. Getting a call from the monitor group at my wifes mothers aged village. "The call alarm has gone off and she is not answering the phone, do you want us to call an ambulance?" Well yes.
Anyway turns out she accidently set off the alarm and went back to sleep so all OK. But "what the". The idea is if the alarm goes off the monitor trys to call the person. If no answer they are supposed to call an ambulance then call the listed caontact, not ring us and ask if we want them to call the ambo.
