Out of interest you can only place these in certain places
is that right, does it restrict where you place it.
Just thinking hot exhaust will cause it to fail, where do you place it ??
under a side step and lift whole side of 4x4 up, ok in flat terrain.
Everyone swears by them , I'm with the jury and out on this one

I put mine anywhere except directly on a hot exhaust... the pressure is spread over such a wide area it just moulds itself to the shape sorta.
    Same principle as airing down
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Thanks guys, I think a mate has one. Might have a look at it and try lifting our cars before buying one for ourselves.
    Cheers

Was planning to test it out today, but didn't quite get to it. On my truck the sliders are really flat and I reckon it will sit in under there and partly under the chassis and lift one whole side up. I tested and can lift the whole side up on the slider with the High Lift (did it with a mates when we were out a few weeks back just to test). I reckon it will work well. Was thinking to have a bit of old mudflap if there is anything not too flat, but not sure I'll need it.

High lift has it's uses, but they can so easily catch you by surprise and as you say, are heavy (and bulky).

There was a thread last year and several people piped up about how good they were and kept it in the back of my mind/wishlist. I just noticed the cheap price delivered on Kogan, so thought I'd give it a go. Will hopefully post up tomorrow what I think of this actual one.
    Thanks, Cameron

Yeah does look pretty beastly! I've often wondered, when you buy something like this how do you get it roadworthy for transfer? I assume you have to put in some effort to temporarily put some stock suspension in, etc. until swapped across, then swap back and take the risk of getting pinged? Am I missing something obvious?
    Thanks, Cameron

A Navman MiVue 530 1080p dash cam with gps tracking.
Ive tried a few of the cheaper versions but they just don't have the clarity even though they're supposed to be at least 720p.
