I have not heard of any issues with them.
They are clones of the other 140 Amp systems that are around.
Personally I prefer dual sensing Isolators such as the Redarc SBI12D but as a 'standard' Isolator they should be OK
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

I agree with ET above as most 4wd are running Redarc or similar. I have heard a couple of good reports from boat owner friends though.
2005 GU IV ST 3.0. Snorkel. Roof rack. Awning. Spots. Welded I/C. Dual batteries & VSR. UHF. Barn door hinge extension. Roof top spot lights. Rear drawers. 2" lift. NADS. EGT and boost gauges. Trans temp and water temp gauges. Provent 200 catch can. Rear ladder
And crawling on the planet's face, some insects called the human race. Lost in time. And lost in space... and meaning.

I would only use the over ride function on that for emergency power. Not back up cranking or winching.
170A is to low.
The redarc simple isolator only a few $$$ more will handle a burst of 400A. So cranking of second battery is an option then.
But that supplied cable won't handle crank current so is sized accordingly to the max amp of the unit.

I run the redarc sbi12, got the full red arc kit, delivered from Ebay for about $220 from memory, was a little while ago.
It's done brilliantly for me so far.
93 GQ wagon, RB30, extractors, 2 inch tough dog lift, 5 spd, A/T KO2 32's, steel winch bar, rated recovery points, red arc dual battery set up, rhino roof racks, UHF etc etc. Slow and steady might not win the race but it gets me there eventually...
