nice price, but dont take my word for it, i have just a straight amp, no disc slot, and that does me fine. audio shit is not really my forte tho, someone else might be able to answer that question better sorry mate

Heres one for the pro's. Any pvr out that can successfully read and play bluray mkv's from a network attached storage? Plus have a bd player and large'ish hdd capacity for tv recordings?

why cant you just build a micro PC with a BD Disc drive and a gigabit capable ethernet port? that would be the easiest solution? and probably the cheapest

I already have that...I spent probably just as much, if not more that a decent pvr to build it. Just getting sick of it. Getting the right codecs to play properly on everything can be a pain sometimes.

what operating system are you running? codecs shouldnt be an issue if your using shark007...

Sounds quite reasonable to me, we've got 3 laptops, 2 desktops (which are never used), 5 android tablets, 2 smart phones, 1 ipod and a partridge in a pear tree

yeah i was more talkign about room for more HDDs, you can only have so many external, a laptop would look ridiculous with 7external HDDs coming out of it lol, also im not a fan of touchpads, they arent efficient enough.

My plan was to run a network from the lappy to one of my sh!tty PC's with all my HDD's in that, well that was the plan, then microsoft came along and made connecting 2 PC's impossible for the average bloke to set up

I wouldn't mind the touchpad if I could work out how 2 disable the click option is there is one, the amount of times I have opened things up or moved files when I didn't want 2

Yes you did, my old man got it free from work and was going to give it to my daughter for Xmas a couple of years ago. Told him she can't have it because we'd got her a tablet. He gave to her the following year but she can't use it because we refuse to open up an account for her. It's sits in a drawer waiting to be thrown out
