I go to the docs early jan to get a few moles checked out. He finds one on my back and says it needs to go. Thinking he will do it there and then. He refers me to a plastic surgeon.
So today, one hundred and effing fifty dollars later from just seeing the surgeon for five bloody minutes I am told its going to cost $500 plus another $75 for the pathology test. I just walked out and said ill get my missus to cut it out with a butter knife for that kind of money!
Im thinking ill have to find a bulk bill habib doc that will do it in the practice.
What the hell, I got one removed from my back years ago in the doctors surgery.....go and get a 2nd opinion mate
I've had a couple of moles and cysts removed by different GP's. Quick and easy. Just make sure you get the right quack or you might wake up minus a kidney as well.

My advice is: not to follow my advice.
Thanks Bob. The shot seems to have helped her a fair bit as did the one on Monday morn. She is now on cortisone tabs for the rest of the week and we take her back on fri for another check up. She is still far from 100% though as she still just lies there and only moves to get water or go to the toilet, not really eating still only bits here and there Which is difficult as she can't have the tabs on an empty stomach. If the tabs do their job she will go onto a six week course they will then take her off them to see if the symptoms come back if so it will be a back and forth thing until/if she gets better.
Mark: if you think human docs are a rip off. This weekend we have spent just under 1g on the dog on tests and meds. They said if this does not work we will have go down the ct scans and spinal tap path and that starts at around 3.5g.

I agree Roofy, do not feed her any canned, dog logs or cryovac pet mince, get the fresh mince from a butcher only.
Canned pet food has manufactured meat pieces in them made using sulfur, dog logs and cryovac pet mince have sodium nitrite added to them.
Hoping for a complete recovery for the pup Kev
