    Diesel chip comparison

    Hi guys, new to this looking at putting a chip in a 2012 GU 3ltr common rail diesel lots of stuff out there, any recommendations and would the exhaust upgrade need to happen first.

    If you have any experience with this would love to hear about it...

    You don't really need to do any first, it's just they will both work better with each other.
    That's why a lot of place sell a chip and exhaust package.

    My self went with DPChip and a Taipan exhaust.

    If I had my time again id go exhaust first as when you crank the chip up all you do is blow un burnt fuel out the exhaust so you dont really get the full benefit of it.
    fitting an exhaust you will get the benifit of it straight away.

    You will see far more benefits from an exhaust upgrade over a chip. If funds allow, then get both.

    If I fit the exhaust without a chip to a 2010CRD do I have to watch boost etc? or can you just fit exhaust and forget? just not sure what other items need doing when you fit exhaust

    Currently looking into a 3inch exhaust and chip myself for my 2008.
    In my research DPchip seems to keep coming up as one of the preferred options.

    supa save yourself a lot of grief get the beudesert 2.75 exhaust no overboost issues and I also have a steinbauer chip run it on 5 and turn it up to 7.5 for towing the van
