    I have GU diffs under the GQ and Braided lines with Bendix Extreme pads and it will lock up my 35s without hesitation. Love it! i dont need any more brakes than that.

    The step up from my GQ brake and braided lines to the GU Brakes with the same braided lines is Insane! BIG Step up. I'd do the diff swap for that alone.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Funny, I would have expected the pedal to be lighter. The info I got from Mark's says you need less pedal pressure. Mine had ABS so lock up is not a problem.

    Hi I fitted these brakes to my GQ last year best thing ever done. IM running 35inch tyres truck weighs about two tonne will lock all wheels with little effort. Just be aware you may have to change master cylinder the original may leak. They say you can use the original steering pump but I found when brakes where in use the steering became erratic very heavy then ok very unsettling if you are going around a corner. I had a new master cylinder matched to hydroboost form USA much easier and cheaper also had new pump sent from USA. I had to make up mounting brackets but not much effort. Also made up my own hydraulic lines using aero fitting they just screw together all less $100 to expensive to have them sent from USA. Not necessary to use braided lines. do a search on googgle you find they perform no better than normal rubber brake lines. yes they do look better but very expensive. If you want fotos or any help just ask.
