CV joint issues

Hey guys. Basically got a heavy clicking when in turning in 4wd and have ruled out all other issues and am sure its a CV thats had it. My question is, how do I figure out which side the CV is rooted on and also should I still change both CVs even if only one is stuffed?? cheers

The only way is Pull the hub apart and have a look, clean the grease off the cv and check the bearing cage for cracks.
