235/85 R16 on GQ factory rims!

    Hi Guys,
Is it possible to put 235/85R16 LT tyres on GQ factory rims?
The rims are either 6 inch or seven inch. I have a set of rims that came with 225/75 R16 tyres.
The rim is 6 inch I think.
Can I put 235/85 R16 on those rims?
Or do I have to get split rims to use 235/85 R16 on a GQ?
What is the ideal rim width for 235/85R16 LTs. 6 inch or 7 inch?
    Thanks guys.

thats about 91/4 " wide so 7" would be fine ,
that will give you a straight side wall no bulging to catch snags

Probably should be a space between the 9 and the 1....... 9 1/4" or 9.25"
