NissanGQ4.2 (1st January 2015)
Crap. Realised this morning that the patrol has a definite lean to the drivers side, at a guess the springs have started to sag. I guess I'm up for a new 2" lift kit just after chrissy.
Maybe I should get airbags added while I'm at it for towing.

Yeh, just bad timing but I guess it always is.
I'll probably go the old man emu and get bags iinstalled at the same time. The existing lift was installed by the prior owner using an Iron Man foam cell kit, and from the looks of it caster correction was never installed. I also put my back out recently so I'm not currently up to crawling under the car to do it myself.
Cheers

Nah, ya can’t count! You’ve counted the same ones twice (they were in different places when I took the photos - I wouldn’t set them up on the ground facing in different directions) & you missed the one on the cab roof! I have 6 all up - a total of 425w, plus another 100w one I scored with the Tvan which I haven’t used to date. Once the RTT comes off the roof space will be filled with as many of them as I can fit in it’s place.![]()

Happy New Year All (sorry wrong thread )
Cuppa can you fit the hatch 180deg around, or do what a mate has done with his 240 volt power cord and fit an alarm to the lock
Just need a micro switch and power it up when you plug the van to the truck.
I’ve heard the latest ones are having their hatches fitted with the hingg at the front. This would certainly make what happened to our very unlikely, but apparently it reduces airflow inside between the two hatches & also make cracking the hatch open a bit in the rain prone to letting water in. Haven’t decided which way round to fit a replacement yet. Not sure about an electric alrm, the wires could be a hassle, but we definitely need some sort of check system.
