Just caught up with Gecko, don't think I've seen a guy smile so hard that his face might crack...bwahahaha
The new big chopper came in and it is a doozy of a knife and nearly 7mm across the spine.
Alitis, if you're chasing a decent all round knife then this is it. Couple it with either a smaller fixed blade or decent liner lock (my recommemdation is the latter) like a Buck 110 or similar and you would have 1 hell of a combo to cover just about anything you can think of.
Check out the size compared next to the pen.

I know all too well about hiding knives, have misplaced some of mine as well lol.
Yup it more of a camel size then a horse. I strangely prefer it over my SOG kukhri, I think its due an easier size to handle and more weight behind it.
I may have to think about selling some as wifey has said no more until we know what the go is with compo, fair call but ai still get to purchase leather gear ...ooooh kinky bwahahaha

It's a Cold Steel Taipan dagger... Sharp as a mofo and just as impractical (unless I become a government sponsored assassin,,,)
I saw the new blade OD just got and the first thought I had was 'I want one!'.... the 2nd thought was that this would be a great camping knife for you. As OD said, couple it with a decent folder and you have it all covered...
